Not long ago, a couple came to Dimension Builders and asked to meet with our Feng Shui Master and the Design Team.

Calmly, the husband, a Stanford PhD in Engineering, told us they were absolutely convinced that only Feng Shui would be able to save them. The wife, a highly educated stay-at-home mom of 4, told us their story:

Looking for a larger home to house their growing family and providing ample outdoor space for the children to run free, they were introduced to a huge and beautiful property in Saratoga. Surrounded by mature trees and having a year-round stream running through the lot, it was a dream came true. They ignored the fact that the lot is mostly below grade and has a natural backwards slope towards the stream. They sniffed at any suggestion that it was not a Feng Shui sound choice. “Superstitions” they claimed.

After moving in, the dynamics in the family subtly morphed. The husband’s start-up grew stagnant. He spent less and less time with his family in order to work on his business. The marriage seemed to be in trouble; even the kids were not getting along. The couple seek help from therapists. They tried everything they could think of, but nothing worked.

Until one day, a professor from the husband’s college days came visit. The professor pointed out that he believed the bad Feng Shui could be a major contributor to this unfortunate situation. With his explanation of what Feng Shui is, and his asking the couple to do reading and researching on the subject, the couple realized that Feng Shui is more than an Art, rather a science.

The couple had a long conversation with our Feng Shui Master. An on-site meeting was set up. After much communication took place among the couple, the Feng Shui Master, the Architect, and the Structure Engineer, an unbelievable transformation was created. The Feng Shui Master provided an out-of-this-world solution which truly turned things around for the entire family.
